Delivery practice
How AI Can Accelerate SAP Treasury Implementations
Use AI to support the work while keeping solution decisions and quality accountable to experienced people.
Choose bounded activities
AI can assist with organising approved requirements, preparing documentation drafts, suggesting test scenarios and summarising project administration. These activities have identifiable inputs and reviewable outputs. They are better starting points than delegating architecture or control decisions to a generated answer. Define the purpose, permitted data and expected reviewer before introducing a tool into the delivery process.
Review against evidence
Generated SAP explanations can confuse products, releases and deployment models. A consultant should validate technical statements against the relevant documentation and the actual system. Test suggestions need traceability to requirements and expected results; documentation needs to reflect implemented configuration. An attractive output is not evidence of correctness. Experienced people remain responsible for solution design, testing decisions and acceptance.
Protect the delivery environment
Use only tools and data handling arrangements approved for the engagement. Avoid placing confidential payment, banking or personal information into unapproved services. Review outputs before they enter project records or client communication, and retain the reasoning behind consequential decisions. The intended benefit is more capacity for analysis and clear documentation, not removal of professional accountability or an unverified promise of lower cost.
Questions for your programme
- Which data is approved for the tool?
- Who reviews the output?
- What evidence supports the resulting decision?
